I am a dedicated educator, literacy leader, and lifelong learner from Alexandria, Louisiana, with a deep passion for helping children and teachers succeed. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Grambling State University in 2010.
Throughout my career, I have served in several educational roles, including Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher, enrichment teacher, math curriculum team member, supervising teacher, librarian, ELA and social studies teacher, and literacy coach. Outside of my professional life, I am a proud mother of three sons, who are my greatest motivation and joy. I come from a strong family of educators, as many of my siblings also work in education, which has deeply influenced my commitment to teaching and learning.
I believe that education is more than a career, it is a calling rooted in purpose and service. I strive to inspire students, empower educators, and make a lasting difference in my school, my community, and beyond.
